Reminder: Your technician appointment

We look forward to you being able to use your easybell connection.

Please remember that a Deutsche Telekom technician will appear at the connection address between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for switching. Please be a local representative of your company at the premises shortly before eight o'clock. According to our experience, the technicians will preferably start their tour in office buildings or other commercially used properties. If you are unable to make the appointment, today is the last day on which you can postpone the DSL connection free of charge. Already four days before the switching a change is no longer possible.

The technician appointment is the most critical point of a DSL circuit. Please take the following precautions:

  • Allow free access to the house distributor (APL), which is usually located in the basement. Take a look now to see if you can find the APL, which is not easy in larger office complexes. If the access is blocked, please contact your caretaker. If there are several distribution boxes, ask your caretaker which one is the right one for your premises. An APL that cannot be found is the most common reason for failed DSL connections in the business customer environment.
  • Please check now in the customer portal whether your details, in particular the connection address and contact number, are correct. The employee on site must be reachable via the contact number. If the data is not correct, please contact us.
  • The technician assumes that the bell is labeled. If this is not the case, please label the bell as indicated.
  • Please also check the function of the bell. If the bell signs and buildings are unclear, please clearly mark your bell and, if necessary, attach a description of how to get there next to the bell.
  • Please see where the TAE socket (telephone socket) is located on your room sides.
  • You can already configure the router with your new DSL access data so that you can check the function of the connection directly on the leap day. If you have ordered a router from us, you will receive it preconfigured.

In some cases, the technician waives the on-site appointment without informing easybell. It is possible that you have already been informed of this directly by Telekom. You can then ignore this email. In exceptional cases, however, this information will not be provided. If no technician should appear, please check before you contact us whether your DSL router synchronizes itself (continuously lit DSL lamp).

Please note that it may take up to 24 hours after switching until your connection reaches full speed.
