Reminder: Your technician appointment

We look forward to you being able to use your easybell connection.

Please remember that a Deutsche Telekom technician will be present between 8 am and 1 pm. You or an adult representative must therefore be present. If you are unable to attend, today is the last day on which you can postpone the appointment free of charge. It is not possible to make a change four days before the date.

The technician appointment is the most critical point of a DSL circuit. Please take the following precautions:

• Please check now in the customer portal whether your details, in particular the connection address and contact number, are correct.
• The technician assumes that the bell is labeled correctly. If this is not the case, please label the bell as indicated.
• Please also check the function of the bell.
• Please look where the TAE socket (telephone socket) is located in your rooms. In some apartments there are also several sockets. Decide on the basis of the location in the apartment which socket is best suited.
• Allow free access to the house distributor (APL), which is usually located in the basement. Take a look now to see if you can find the APL. If access is blocked, please contact your caretaker as soon as possible.

In some cases, the technician waives the on-site appointment without informing easybell. It is possible that you have already been informed of this directly by Telekom. You can then ignore this email. In exceptional cases, however, this information will not be provided. If no technician should appear, please check before you contact us whether your DSL router synchronizes itself (continuously lit DSL lamp).

Please note that it may take up to 24 hours after switching until your connection reaches full speed.
